Paperback and other updates!

In my last post I had promised pictures of my weekend, unfortunately I didn't get round to taking any. Boo! Anyway, I did have a good time and I'm glad I went. Tonight I'm off to a party and hopefully I will take pictures ;).

I'm really excited about my new paperback that is coming out soon. It's slowly coming together. Woohoo! The editing has been done, and now the cover is done! Have a look at this lovely cover done by John Harcourt.  Love it!  *Doing a victory dance*

I think being able to touch a real book with my words written in it is exciting. Something I once dreamed about and is now becoming a reality. A lot of thanks goes to my lovely boyfriend for helping me achieve this. I'm really grateful for his help getting me to this point. I'm beginning to think about the next one, haha. I think that my book 'Don't say you love me' should also go into paperback, but it's one step at a time I think. So keep your eyes peeled for my paperback!

Upcoming books

At the moment I'm working on a story I did a while ago, 'the gift' series. I've had a few messages about it and I've decided to buckle down and finish it for the people who want a conclusion on this story. I'm sorry for the delay, it will be out soon. That doesn't mean I've abandoned the latest story. I'm working on that too and know exactly where it's going. So these books will be coming out soon too.

Personal things

Party tonight, resting Sunday I hope. I've got some university work to do which I'm hoping to do Sunday afternoon. I've also been accepted to volunteer at the hospice as a bereavement support volunteer. I'm happy about that. As you will notice from some of my stories, I deal with difficult issues. I guess my heart is in trying to help others feel better, even if it's just to sit with them in silence.

Thank you to everyone who read my blog! I've had 36,182 visitors! At least I'm not a lone voice in the wilderness! So thank you, sincerely!

I hope you all have a good weekend!  Stay blessed!

The Assassin Book 1

So I have a new story out. If you liked the London and Victor series, you might like this one. I have no idea where it's going but I am excited about it. If you haven't already read Loving You, it's now available on kindle unlimited for a while. I hope you will enjoy this story and look forward to the next instalment.

Tall, sexy, rich and everything in between. Jacob is the sexiest man Ruby-Rae has ever set eyes on. There’s just one problem, she’s married and will not break her vows for this man. But Jacob is not just any man, he’s an assassin, a man who gets what he wants and that includes Ruby-Rae. The mores Ruby-Rae resists, the more he persists. The thing he doesn’t know is that he might be doing her a great big favour.

Ruby-Rae has secrets of her own. Perhaps Jacob is just what she needs, to find the freedom she truly seeks.

Excerpt

Jacob had seen her leave, and was quickly behind her. He told Donald to wait in the bar while he spoke to the woman of his dreams.

She reached the car, but before she could even open the door, his hand was on the door prohibiting her from opening it.

‘What the hell…’

He turned her around and pressed his lips against hers. Ruby-Rae could’ve easily resisted, but his touch weakened her in a second. He put his hand behind her head and brought her closer into him. Once she realised what was happening she pulled away.

‘Stop it!’ She breathed heavily.

‘Is that what you really want?’ he searched her eyes. The lighting in the parking, although dim, was enough for him to see her eyes. ‘The way I see it, you want me to keep touching you.’ He ran his hand up her thigh, weakening her further.

That was true. She liked his touch, and it made her feel a little ashamed, but it was hard to resist the man in front of her. He was just unbelievably sexy. This had never happened to her before. He drew closer and she could feel his warm breath against her lips. His dark hair fell to the front of his face and that just made it impossible for her to reason.

‘I can’t do this,’ she used all her strength to resist him.

He pressed his lips against hers again, she shut her eyes and surrendered to the stranger’s touch for a moment. But as soon as that happened, she came to her senses and pushed him away.

‘Stop it,’ she said breathing heavily.

He smiled and ran his hand down the side of her cheek. ‘I will see you soon.’ He stepped back.

Weekend Tings!

It's getting really cold at the moment and all you really want to do is stay in bed, but what kind of life would that be. So I'll be off to Manchester tomorrow. In the afternoon I will be watching rugby with my boo. Eng vs SA, it's going to be interesting. Later we'll go to the Christmas market. Looking forward to that, and hopefully I'll be able to take some pictures and share them with you. The coming week I will be busy with the second part to this series and it will be out very soon.  I will also be visiting colleges with my daughter. Time has flown by, it's both scary and exciting at the same time. That's it for now.

Happy reading!
