Excerpt

Just then the doorbell rang. Harley squinted at her watch, it was almost eight thirty.
‘Who on earth?’ Harley dragged herself to the door. ‘Oh my god, what’s happened?’
Amber fell into her arms and let out the loudest howl scaring poor Buttercup to find refuge under the couch.
‘He left meeeeee!’ The cry was deep and painful. ‘He left meeee!’ The tears poured down Amber’s pretty face.
‘Come, sit down.’ Harley led her best friend into the living room and sat her down.
For a moment she watched her strong and independent friend turn into a dependent and weak woman. It made no sense at all, she was the strong one, the one who never bowed down to anyone. If Harley had learnt anything about confidence she’d learnt it from Amber.
Amber had gone onto to work for a solicitor’s office. She’d turned into a strong and powerful career woman but had suddenly turned into a marshmallow.
‘Honey start from the beginning.’ Harley reached for a box of tissues that sat on the coffee table.
Amber pulled two bits of the absorbent paper and blew her nose profusely.
‘Itssss Kyle….he left meeeeee!’ The tears started up again and she sounded like a choking engine.
‘Oh gosh, why what happened?’ Harley hadn’t been under the impression they’d been in trouble.
Kyle was Amber’s solicitor boyfriend. He worked in a different department but for the same company. He was handsome but nothing striking and Harley had often wondered what Amber had seen in the guy in the first place. Kyle was arrogant and sarcastic; dining out with him was like scrubbing a brillo pad against ones skin.
‘He said.’ She sniffed and straightened up. ‘That it just wasn’t working.’
‘What wasn’t working?’
‘Us.’
‘Did you ask him why?’
She nodded.
‘And?’
‘He gave me that line, it’s not you it’s me…I just need to play the field a bit more. I feel as though you’re suffocating me.’
‘Jerk!’ Harley was hardly surprised; he was never one to deliver bad news delicately.
‘What am I going to dooooo!’ The tears erupted again.
Harley took both Amber’s hands into hers and waited for the cries to die down. When only a few sniffs were heard, Harley stood up and made her way to the kitchen; pulled out a giant tub of chocolate ice-cream from the fridge and picked up two desert spoons.
‘Here.’ Harley handed her a spoon and put the tub between them.
‘I can’t eat that, I’ll get bigger. Lips to hips.’ She tried to smile.
‘Oh honey please. Listen to yourself. You and I both know we’ve got big booties, we are never going to look like Victoria Secret models, so eat.’ Harley popped open the yummy ice-cream. ‘Come on, why try and be something you’re not? Your words not mine.’ She took the first scoop and took it into her mouth.
A smile crept up on Amber’s face and soon she was digging into the creamy ice-cream too.
‘I hate men!’ Amber screeched.
‘Hmmm, but we love them too!’ Harley thought back to her boss. He was the sexiest man she’d ever set eyes on and yet she couldn’t stand to be near him.
‘Doesn’t it just annoy you?!’ Amber dug the spoon into the tub and brought out a big blob of ice-cream.
‘They think they rule the world!’
‘I’m assuming you mean your boss in particular?’
‘I don’t get that guy. Why the hell did he hire me if he doesn’t want any input from me?’
‘Honey it looks good on the books.’
‘What’s that supposed to mean? I worked damn hard to get to where I am.’
‘Why don’t you leave?’
‘And go where? I’m probably already past my sell by date.’
‘Oh don’t be so hard on yourself. There will be someone who will appreciate you.’
‘I don’t think I can handle another string of interviews.’
‘Hmmm there’s that.’
‘I’ll be competing with a new set of graduates.’
‘You’ll have experience behind you.’
Harley pondered on these things, would it be that difficult to get another job. Her thoughts drifted to the time she’d begun to job hunt, it hadn’t been very uplifting, more soul destroying.
‘I’ll stick with it for a while longer. Maybe when I’ve more experience I could freelance.’
‘Good idea.’
Soon the talk died down and the pair watched some television. Buttercup came out of under her hiding place and made herself comfortable between them. Two hours later, Amber asked if she could stay over.
‘I really don’t want to be alone tonight.’
‘Yeah sure, take the spare room.’
Amber had done that many times before.
‘Just be aware I’m out the house very early. I’m covering a court case late morning.’
‘So why the early start? Can’t you just head straight there?’
‘The boss wants to have a word with me.’
‘Oooh.’
‘My thought’s exactly. It’s never good news behind his closed doors.’

They parted to their separate rooms at the top of the stairs. Soon the nightmare of work would start.

One Flesh By Annabeth Leong

Blurb
Leticia and Rosalie are planning their wedding, wanting very much to make their special day one to remember, but Rosalie has something else weighing on her mind, one more thing she wants to make as special and as memorable as the ceremony itself—their wedding night. Rosalie wants to be with Leticia in a way that neither of them had ever been with anyone else. But finding something that would be a first time for both of them turns out to be harder than expected.

As it turns out, there is one thing Leticia has wanted to do but has never trusted anyone enough to allow herself to overcome the fear of it. And it's something that Rosalie has never done either.

The women discuss the idea of fisting as a means of connecting and forming an intimate bond with each other, one that they've never formed with anyone else. They've never loved or trusted anyone else they way the love and trust each other, and they are determined to find a way to make it work.

Excerpt:

"I'll call tomorrow to tell the church how many flowers we want to order," Leticia said, sighing and folding her notebook closed. No matter how many neat lists she made with her favorite purple pen, the sheer quantity of wedding-related details was overwhelming. "Can you call the caterer back, Rosalie? I still feel like they sneaked a charge in somewhere, but I can't get a straight answer out of them about it."

Her fiancée smiled indulgently. "Better yet. I'll go in person on my lunch break, and they won't know what hit them."

"Great." Leticia rubbed her temples and closed her eyes. She'd wanted to go to bed early, but another evening of wedding planning had made that completely impossible. She was excited to be marrying her one true love and all, but it was easy to lose track of that when she had fourteen phone calls to make and her mother demanded an e-mailed progress report every single night. "That's got to be enough for now."

Leticia stole a quick glance at Rosalie. She'd changed into a cute pair of pajamas when she got home from work, the childish pattern an odd contrast with her sophisticated coppery makeup. Leticia briefly fantasized about peeling the clothing away, revealing her lover's curves and smooth brown skin. Unfortunately, at that very same moment, she had to stifle a yawn. She was so damn sleepy. They would need to get to bed immediately if she was going to give Rosalie proper attention.

"We can't quit planning yet," Rosalie said. "We haven't discussed the most important thing, and it's coming up soon."

Leticia groaned. She flipped her notebook open again and paged through her color-coded, highlighted lists. "We've talked about everything I had listed for the day, and we even went over things that have deadlines coming up in the next few days. I don't see what we're—"

"The wedding night," Rosalie purred. "We haven't discussed that at all."

There was no mistaking the sparkle in her eyes. Leticia actually blushed, the way she had at Rosalie's makeup counter the first time they met, when the other woman's soft words of praise, roughened by the obvious desire in her voice, had gotten Leticia so hot and flushed it had been impossible to identify the correct shade of foundation for her skin tone. She'd been forced to come back later, not that she'd minded.

Now that she'd figured out what Rosalie was hinting at, Leticia played innocent. For all her lover's passion, her Catholic upbringing had left her with an adorable aversion to using direct language. Leticia loved to watch Rosalie get flustered while trying to explain her naughty desires. She batted her eyelashes and focused on her notes again. "We've reserved our hotel room the night of. We've got our plane tickets to Puerto Rico for the honeymoon a couple days after that. Everything appears to be in order."

"The wedding night," Rosalie said, apparently oblivious to Leticia's teasing. She rolled her hands through the air, one over the other, the gesture an invitation to take the word "night" and run with it. "The whole reason I wanted an afternoon wedding was so we could have plenty of time together. Afterward. In the hotel."

"You mean to take a good, long nap? I'm sure we'll be tired after dealing with all the guests, and coming down from pre-wedding nerves, too." Leticia couldn't resist continuing the act.

"Not a nap. But I am talking about what we might do in bed." Now Rosalie colored, a deep red undertone becoming visible beneath the screen of her makeup.

Leticia composed her face as much as she could manage and shrugged. "Oh, are you talking about sex?" A giggle threatened to slip through at Rosalie's incredulous, exasperated expression. "I don't know. I've read tons of articles about how people get so exhausted from all the things leading up to a wedding that they don't even really want to have sex by the time the day is done. We'll have plenty of time for that later in the honeymoon, won't we?"

"Don't even really want to have sex," Rosalie repeated slowly, as if the phrase was a math problem and she couldn't quite work it out. Her forehead wrinkled in utter puzzlement. A snort burst from Leticia. Realization dawned on Rosalie's face. She grabbed a tissue from the box on the table and tossed it at her. They'd both collapsed in giggles by the time the thin paper floated airily to the floor beside Leticia.

Leticia allowed the force of her laughter to pull her off the chair. She crawled the short space to Rosalie's chair and raised one brown foot to her lips. Leticia did enjoy a little foot worship now and then, but her current mood was far from reverent. Slowly, carefully, she slipped her mouth over Rosalie's polished big toe. She licked until Rosalie's breathing changed, confused between laughter and moaning. Then Leticia lifted off the toe and pressed her mouth to the sole of Rosalie's foot. She inhaled, gripped the ankle tightly, and blew a powerful raspberry.

Rosalie squealed and tried to get away. Leticia smiled but kept up the wet, ticklish vibrations. Rosalie's foot jerked in her hands. Leticia kept hold easily. She had plenty of practice restraining patients, which happened to have fun applications at home.

Rosalie writhed as she laughed. Leticia drew breath for another raspberry, but cut her eyes up as much as she dared. She didn't want to miss the sight of her lover, breasts bouncing under her shirt as her rib cage shook, hips rolling as she struggled to get away, face squeezed tight as if to ward off the unbearable sensation of being tickled. Effectively, this previewed Rosalie's orgasm. Warm arousal spread through Leticia's body as she forced Rosalie to stay in this state, and as she looked forward to seeing the real thing very soon.

Rosalie rained playful blows onto Leticia's head. "Why the hell am I marrying you?" It took forever for her to get the sentence out, as she had to gasp each word between shrieking laughs.

Leticia grinned and tugged at her lower legs. Her lover took the hint and rolled out of the chair to join her on the floor. Leticia wrapped her arms around Rosalie, who felt small and hot and curvy. She slipped one hand down to tickle between her ribs, rewarded by another delicious howl. Rosalie shoved at her chest. "You are evil, I swear."

"I'm sorry," Leticia said softly, managing to sound sincerely regretful. She kissed Rosalie's temples with great tenderness, until her lover relaxed and stopped wriggling. Leticia murmured more soothing words, rubbing Rosalie's back... then licked the side of her face.

Smashwords or Draft2Digital?

In my experience I'd say both. I joined Smashwords in 2011. After struggling with their formatting I finally got the hang of it and loaded the majority of my books there.

Earlier this year I was on Kindleboards and I heard about Draft2Digtal. I was unsure at the time,I didn't want to move all my books over there without really thinking about it. I did a little research and found out that quite a few people were raving about it. So I decided that with my next release I would try it out. I joined Draft2Digital in May and I haven't been disappointed.

Why both?

Smashwords has a lot more sale venues than Draft2Digital. It's always important to have your books in as many places as possible. If you want your book to go free at Barnes & Noble you can only do this through Smashwords so before loading a book, think about whether or not you'd like to promo it by making it free. Smashwords Mark Coker is great! He really does have the authors best interests at heart. Every time I sent him an email he always answered. That for me has been a very important thing for me. Yes there are some glitches with Smashwords but with everything it's a learning process. So for now, for books I want to go free go off to Smashwords. Every book tittle is often loaded to Smashwords, I just decide which vendors I'm going to send them to.

What about Draft2Digital? I love Draft2Digital, it's like the new speed train that takes you from one destination to another in half the time. My books are uploaded and appear the very same day at Barnes & Noble and Kobo but apple not so. But this isn't their fault. At the moment Apple is dragging their feet when it comes to reviewing erotica, it can now take up to 25weeks so I'm told but that's another story for a different time. Yes Draft2Digital are the best when it comes to speed. They update sales figures as close to real time as you can get, this is great because you can get to see how each book is performing and make adjustments accordingly.  Just today they released a new reporting system which I'm loving. Smashwords is a little slow on the reporting which I find a little annoying.

With Draft2Digital you can create multiple pen names which works to my advantage, unfortunately Smashwords looses marks on this one. With Smashwords you either have to create a publisher account or create a new account under a new pen name. This is a hassle for me seeing that I have a tax treaty with the US. That means I don't pay tax, it took ages for me to get this sorted out with Smashwords. When I finally sent my W-8BEN I had to wait a long time before it was finally sorted. The forms are done in batches. I don't think I have the patience to go through this again. With Draft2Digital this was as easy as pie, I sent my form via email and every thing was sorted quickly, like I said, speed train!

The last thing I want to mention is the payment options. Draft2Digital offer direct deposits which work out better for me. I don't have to endure the paypal fees and the exchange rate is a lot better. I find that with my Kindle sales. Every penny I make is important and to loose some of it to a fees is annoying. But hey things could be worse.

So in conclusion I would say use both. I never pulled any of my books that were at Smashwords and I still load every book to both. I think that having them both is the benefit to authors in different ways. We now have more choices and we can do so much more. It helps me to focus more on my writing and not having to worry about where to load my books.

I hope you found this helpful

FORBIDDEN FRUIT - Selena Kitt

FORBIDDEN FRUIT BLURB
Leah and Erica have been best friends and have gone to the same Catholic school since just about forever. Leah spends so much time with the Nolans--just Erica and her handsome father now, since Erica's mother died--that she's practically part of the family. When the girls find something naughty under Mr. Nolan's bed, their strict, repressive upbringing makes it all the more exciting as they begin their sexual experimentation. Leah's exploration presses deeper, and eventually she finds herself in love for the first time, torn between her best friend and her best friend's father.
NOTE TO READERS: This story appeared in another, now rather infamous book of mine (UNDER MR. NOLAN'S BED). This tale, previously titled Plaid Skirt Confessions, is a slightly less naughty, but no less sexy re-telling of those events--updated and redressed for your reading pleasure with an ending that may leave you a little more satisfied.
Warnings: This title contains erotic situations, lesbian sex, sex toys, and also makes mention of pornography, salmon, amusement parks, chocolate covered strawberries, brownies (as well as girl scouts), plaid skirts, naughty uses for confessionals and some sacrilegious humor.

“Did she go home?” I whispered, conscious of Erica sleeping in the other room.
He swallowed and shook his head. His eyes were pleading with me, trying to tell me something, but I couldn’t understand. “No. She’s sleeping in my bed.”
“Why?” I felt tears stinging my eyes and I willed them not to fall. “What did I do?”
He sighed, closing his eyes and running a hand through his hair. “Oh Leah. Nothing. Everything. I don’t know.”
“Do you really like her?” I whispered, blinking fast and taking a step toward him. He didn’t move back, and we were almost belly to belly. “Is she…is she what you want?”
He opened his eyes and looked down at me, arms hanging at his sides, head down. He looked defeated. “No.”
“Then why?” I hissed, shoving at his chest with the flat of my palm. “You asked her out again! You cooked her dinner! You slept with her! Why?”
“I don’t know!” He shook his head. “Why did you do what you did? Putting the magazines and videos on my bed? Was it supposed to scare her off?”
I sighed, crossing my arms. “That was Erica’s idea, not mine.“Erica?” He frowned.
I shrugged, acting like I didn’t care if he believed me. “This isn’t fair.”
“No,” he admitted, moving forward a little, lifting my chin. “It’s really not.”
“I just want to know why.” I met his eyes. I felt my chin quivering in his hand and tried to stop it, but I couldn’t. “Please just tell me why.”
“You want to know why?” His eyes flashed in the dimness, moving over my face. “Fine, I’ll tell you why. For the same reason I was sitting here at one in the morning, waiting for you.”
I stared up at him, eyes wide.
He shook his head, looking pained. “I can’t stop thinking about you, Leah. Everywhere I go, everything I do, there you are. I can’t get you out of my head.”
My throat and chest tightened at his words and I nodded. I knew exactly how he felt.
“I thought…” He swallowed, his hand moving down my neck, over my shoulder, his gaze following the curve there. “I thought that if I moved on, I could stop this crazy thinking. This feeling I have for you…”
“What feeling?” I pressed against him. “Tell me.”
“Leah…” He whispered my name, using his thumb to rub over my lips. “I took her to bed tonight, yes, I did. I fucked her senseless, until I couldn’t see straight—” His words shot arrows into my heart and I felt the sting of them in my chest. “And every time I closed my eyes, I saw your face.” He pressed me back toward the counter with the weight of his body. “It wasn’t her I was touching or kissing or fucking—it was you, Leah. Every minute I was with her, I was wishing it was you.”
“Oh god.” I reached up and put my arms around his neck and pulled his mouth down to mine.
It was like sinking into something dark and warm and soft, the safest place I’d ever been.

Smashwords Interview

Hello

If you want to get to know a little bit more about me, my likes, dislikes and all things nice please check out my Smashwords interview.

https://www.smashwords.com/interview/irisdeorre

I am a decent girl after all :-)

I'm finally finished the second in the Ivy,Sophia and Stefano Vampire series. More to come I promise but I can't say when because I'm working on something else. My next story is another short one, I woke up with the idea and I loved it so I thought - Hey why not write it, so that's exactly what I'm doing.

Book coming soon

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Saturday 3 August 2013

News, changes and everything inbetween

A lot of change is coming my way and I'm rather excited. There is something about change, it makes you uncomfortable at times but it's the best way to get you moving. So I'm pleased with everything that's happening so far.

From the 12th of October I will be starting to work towards my degree in English and English Lit. This was a big step for me but I'm glad I put my foot forward and went for it. Not only will it improve my writing, I will be able to expand into other things, like script, academic writing, etc.

Does this mean the end of my erotica? Hardly, I will be writing as much as I can, I do wonder where I will find the time but I can not, can not give up cocks, pussies, clits and all things nice, it would be a shame to do so and besides I love writing it. I will have to tone it down for my Uni work but hey, I can do that.Who knows, ideas could crop up while I'm doing this. So yes, this is an exciting move for my life, moving in the right direction I'd say.

With regards to my writing, I'm working on the second series to Fighting for her. Oh and I should mention that Fighting for her was mentioned on USA Today, check it out here USA Today . (Smiles)! I've given myself the end of August as a deadline to the second book (The Prophecy). Ivy is about to find out a whole lot about herself and she's not sure she wants to. All fun and games in the world of the Undead.

I'll end up by saying that I'm enjoying this writing journey and I'm grateful to Amazon, Smashwords, Kobo and Draft2digital for the opportunity to get my work out there. I'm also grateful to all my readers, thank you for buying my books and helping me to continue this journey!

New release coming soon

I've finally finished my new release Fighting For Her. It's taking me longer than normal but I'm glad I spent time on it. It has taken a different turn than I'd expected. At first I thought it was girl meets vampire girl but then as I continued to write the story I discovered there was more to the girl who meets vampire girl. That there was a reason why she was so important to the vampire world.

In the beginning everything feels innocent but at the end you will learn that the girl is more than just a girl. She's been waited for for centuries. Yes, it may sound like a bit of gibberish right now but I promise you this book is different, and not to forget a lot of girl on girl sex!!! How could I ever miss that out.

So a bit of revision is needed but fear not, Fighting For Her will soon be out and I'm looking forward to writing the second series!!

Bye for now

What I'm working on

Even though it seems as though I've been quiet I'm working on a vampire story that I'm really enjoying. I'm not sure where it's heading but I'm letting the characters lead me with that.

It started out as an idea and has gone onto a story that I'm really liking. Here's a little sneak view of a rough draft.  Enjoy!

Fighting for Her

Ivy had heart stories about them. At first she thought it was a myth, something made up to liven up their small town. But then as she got older she began to notice them.
They were different, their skin pale and un-life like. They always wore protective clothing even in the warm summer months. They never truly spoke to anyone only at people which she didn’t consider real conversation. There was a lack of human connection, it was as if that part of them had died with them and they were unable to show any.
It was after her twenty second birthday when things changed. She was working at her local department store when a tall medium built gentleman walked into the store. His jet black hair was sleeked back, he had a handsome face but it lacked life, as if all the blood had been drained from it. He wore a tight pair of black jeans, a v-neck shirt that hugged his defined body and a leather jacket that fitted snug on his body.
He looked over at Ivy and she quickly looked away, terrified that he’d noticed her watching him. He chuckled lightly then proceeded to pick up a white and black stripped shirt. He held it up for a moment and admired it, then placed it against himself to see if it would fit. Satisfied he kept it with him and looked through the other rails of clothing.
Ivy couldn’t help but watch him secretly. She’d never really seen one of them up so close or in their store before, well, not while she’d worked there. She was young and everything was still new to her and she’d only been working at the store a couple of months.
Finally the gentleman made his decision and walked up to the till where she stood. Her heart picked up momentum. Why was she so afraid? They had never really hurt anyone although there had been talk of a rebel group that had began to feed off humans again. Was he one of them?
‘Is this everything?’ She took the shirt with shaky hands and he nodded, a smile appeared across his face.
The woman before him was so young and beautiful he couldn’t help but admire her. Her brown skin glowed under the shop lights. He could smell her, her fear that made her that more attractive to him. Behind his mouth his fangs appeared, a reaction to her scent. It was sweet, something he wanted to taste, to posses and make his.
He quickly slotted back his fangs and said, ‘Yes, yes that will be all thank you,’ and smiled.
Ivy folded the shirt and packed it nicely into a bag and took his money. For a moment they exchanged stares and he smiled and then Ivy quickly gave him his change and stepped back.
‘I know you’re curious. Perhaps you could work for me. I think I like you. If you want to know more, why don’t you stop by 9pm Club 102 down the alley on Cobbler street. Knock three times, the door will open and give them my name, Stefano. I will be waiting.’
Ivy held onto her head, had she really heard him speak into her mind? She looked up at him briefly, the same smile on his face. He nodded to reassure her that he had indeed spoken into her mind and then he quickly made his way out of the shop.
‘Is everything alright?’ A colleague asked.
‘Urm yes, yes I’m fine, just have a bit of a headache. I’ll just get some water.’ She excused herself and went behind the store to get some water.
Shock traveled through her body, it really had happened hadn’t it? The vampire had spoken into her mind. She had heard him loud and clear. Would she go? Was she as curious as he thought she was? What did he mean work for him? What did he mean he liked her? Ivy had never really had a chance to explore that part of her life. It had been a confusing part of her life. A brief relationship had turned sour with her one and only boyfriend. It had been the sex. The sex she never wanted to have with him. She had felt ready and yet sometimes she felt ready for someone else. The someone else had been a girl who would never want her back. But she loved John’s company. Feelings were stirred and yet they were never as strong as they had been for the girl.
So they broke up it was inevitable. How long could they go without sex anyway? She had to question herself, understand who she was and what she wanted. But the vampire had stirred something in her. Was it just curiosity or was she beginning to get a clearer picture of herself. Did she like both men and women or was it vampires and women? Was it the differences that pulled her, the attraction to the undead? Ivy would not know unless she explored those feelings. Perhaps then she would understand herself more.
She poured herself a glass of water and drank it like her life depended on it. Club 102, would she go? She had heard of it, heard the stories about it. About the bizarre things that went on in there, things that made her shiver. Would she really want to find out? And if she did become his, what would that mean for her? Ivy had heard stories about that before, humans becoming vampires possessions. Once that happened she could never belong to anyone else ever again.
Becoming a vampires possession had to be of her own free will. When Stefano had asked her to work for him did he mean that she would have to become his? Would being his help her explore her sexual identity but what if she found out that it wasn’t him or them what then?  So many questions filled her mind, it made her head ache. For now she would go about her duties as a shop assistant. And later when she walked home she would think about it. She would decide whether or not she wanted to explore this any further!

Excerpt

‘Hello?’ A male voice came from her left side.
‘Are you talking to me?’
Pepsi woofed slightly and the gentleman laughed.
‘Yes, I am. You seem so…so happy so free,’ he said.
‘I do?’ She had to admit she felt it.
‘Yes, yes you do. I’m not sure when was the last time I saw someone look so happy, so content. We all seem pretty rushed now a days.’ His voice was deep but gentle, Robyn tired to visualise what he looked like. Was he tall, was he short? What colour were his eyes? Did he have a moustache or a beard, was he fat or was he thin? Just then she giggled.
‘Share,’ he said.
‘Oh it’s nothing,’ she smiled.
‘It’s obviously something because you seem to be laughing.’
‘Well…’ she hesitated and took her time to savour the moment. It had been a long while since having a conversation like this with someone. ‘I was just trying to imagine what you look like. You see….I have this crazy thing going on in my head. I imagine what places look like, how people look by the sounds of their voices.’ She dropped her head shyly, what was she doing, taking to a faceless stranger.
‘That sounds kind of interesting. Do you mind if I join you?’
‘Urm… no…sure you’re welcome to join me.’
‘Thanks.’ The gentleman shifted and moved over to her table and at that moment a waitress brought Robyn’s coffee.
‘So indulge me.’ he said. ‘Why don’t you tell me what you think I look like?’
‘Urmm…’ Robyn pursed her lips. ‘That’s going to be pretty hard.’
‘Well I can start and then you do the same for me.’
‘Well that’s not really fair is it, you can see me.’
‘I can, but can I really see you?’
‘Okay…I’m listening.’ Now he’d got her really interested. ‘What do you see?’
‘A very very beautiful woman.’ He started and Robyn blushed. ‘She has lovely long black hair, a cute button nose, lovely brown eyes and even though she can’t see with those eyes, she can really see. She looks like she’s been through a lot but right now she’s finally accepting what is and so she’s comfortable. She loves how her life is turning out, it’s the beginning but she’s beginning to master control. This is the first time she’s been out to a coffee shop on her own and she likes the idea....so how am I doing?’
‘Wow…have you been stalking me? Have we perhaps met?’ she laughed.
‘No, I’m a physiologist; I study human behaviour and can usually tell a lot by what you do rather than what you say. Most of what we say is unspoken and more through our body language. You chose to sit right at the back hoping it was secluded because you weren’t quite confident about it but then you discovered it wasn’t as bad as you thought it would be and began to listen out for sounds around you.’
‘So you’ve been watching me.’
‘Guilty… but how could I not, you’re beautiful.’
‘Oh c’mon.’ she laughed.
‘Don’t be afraid to accept a compliment. You are very beautiful.’
Robyn pursed her lips together and then a smile appeared on her face. ‘Thank you…someone used to say that to me a long time ago.’ She thought briefly about Ethan.

Unfailing Love

Snippet to Unfailing love – Enjoy

Jude was almost ready. In a way he was glad that Eden had rung to say she was running a little late. This way he would be able to put the finishing touches to what he was doing. His heart skipped, never had he been this excited. He was grateful to Amber for all her help and he would definitely owe her one. He wasn’t sure he would’ve been able to pull it all off on his own, well at least not in one day after a lecture.
He walked into the kitchen and made a few finishing touches to the meal he had prepared and then he heard the keys in the door. He quickly took off the apron and made his way to the door to greet her. Quickly he took her into his arms and planted a very wet kiss on her lips.
‘Hmmm, happy to see me and what’s the gorgeous smell?’ she looked up at him lovingly.
‘It’s a surprise.’
Eden raised her eyebrows, the house was warm and as she looked at the passage way it was clear of socks and shoes.
‘The house looks clean.’
‘Hmmm, I’ve made sure there are no socks hanging about and I’ve done some of the laundry and cleaned the kitchen and upstairs.’
‘Oh wow!’ She was genuinely surprised.
‘And that’s not all my lovely.’
‘It isn’t?’
He shook his head and held out his hand for her to take.
‘Close your eyes,’ he said.
‘Oh, this is so exciting. What is it?’
‘It wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you would it?’
Eden giggled as they walked towards the living room, he pushed opened the door and Eden could hear the light sound of instrumental music. She also caught a whiff of a sweet orangey smell.
‘What’s that beautiful smell?’ she asked.
‘You will have to wait my love.’ He guided her a bit more and then finally stopped.
For a moment he let go of her hand and Eden stood with her eyes shut giggling.
‘No opening your eyes.’ He warned.
‘I won’t, I promise.’
There was a bit of shuffling and then it was dead silent. Where had he gone? Eden tried to sense him but she didn’t have a clue where he’d gone. She knew he was close but couldn’t figure out where.
‘Okay…you can open your eyes.’
Slowly Eden opened her eyes. She was greeted by darkness. Not total darkness but candles lit up the dark room everywhere.
‘Oh wow!’ Her body covered in Goosebumps as she looked down and saw Jude on one knee. ‘Oh my god Jude.’ Tears welled up in her eyes.
‘I know you’ve said yes to me already but I wanted to make this special like I promised.’
Eden dropped her head to the side and gazed at him tenderly. The candlelight from a round table besides them lit up his handsome face. He took her hand in his and smiled.
‘Eden Hayden you mean the world to me. The first time I lay eyes on you I knew you were mine. I just knew it in my heart and I still know it today.’
‘Awww…you’re making me cry.’ She sniffed.
He let go of her hand for a short while and pulled out a little black velvet box from his back pocket and proceeded to open it before her.
‘Oh Jude!’ She cupped her hands to her mouth.
Eden Hayden.’
‘Yes?’ she shook.
‘Will you marry me?’
‘Yes, yes I will marry you. Yes I will marry you.’ She gave him her shaky hand and he put the ring on her finger gently.
‘You have just made me the happiest man in the world. He rose to his feet and took her into his arms. He brought her face forward and kissed her passionately. Eden too took as much of him as she could, she had never felt this emotional all at once. For moments they would stop and gaze into each others eyes, speaking volumes and yet saying nothing. Only they knew between them what each gaze meant.
‘I love you so much.’ He whispered finally and stole a kiss again. ‘I love you so much.’ He bit her bottom lip. ‘You are amazing.’ Again he stole a kiss teasingly and tenderly and then finally they couldn’t hold back and gave of themselves completely.
‘Don’t get me too excited.’ He mouthed against her. ‘We have a long night ahead of us.’
‘We do?’
‘Yes, let me take your jacket.’ He offered. He then took her towards the small round table that had two of the kitchen chairs and pulled out a chair for her to sit.
‘This is lovely. I see you found the table clothes.’ She teased.
‘I did indeed.’
A candle was lit in the middle of the table and two plates and cutlery were opposite each other.
‘This is so exciting Jude, thank you.’
‘For you? Anything.’ He leaned down and kissed her cheek. ‘Now just give me a few minutes and I’ll be back with our dinner.’
‘Ooooh...’
He picked up a remote and increased the volume to the music. It was instrumental, something she’d never heard before but it sounded lovely.
‘I’ll be back,’ he said and then nipped out.
Jude came back with a bottle of champagne, popped it opened and poured them a glass each.
‘I could get used to this,’ Eden took a sip of the champagne.
‘And you should. I’ll just go get the starters.’ He added and left before Eden could say anything. She looked around her, her heart was happy and even though the day had taken its toil on her she finally began to relax. She looked at the silver ring with the diamond in the middle and admired it. It looked good on her finger. She couldn’t believe it, actually seeing the ring on her finger made it that much more real. She was going to be someone’s wife. Not so long ago she never believed that this day would ever come, but it had and with the most amazing man she’d ever met.
Jude returned with a tray and placed two small piping hot bowls with prawns in garlic sauce and garlic bread.
‘Hmmmm, this smells so good it’s making my mouth water.’ Eden gazed at the starter. The prawns floated in the garlic sauce. Jude put the tray to one side and sat down opposite her, the candle lighting up his face.
He lifted the bowl of garlic bread and encouraged her to take some and to dip it into the sauce.  Eden did so and closed her eyes as she took in the amazing taste that tickled her taste buds.
‘Where on earth did you learn to cook like this?’
‘I had some help.’ He winked. ‘I’m an okay cook as you know but – ‘
‘Let me guess, Amber?’ Eden smiled, it was the first time she could say that name without feeling threatened.
‘She sends her love.’ He teased.
‘I bet she did.’ She picked up a fork and picked up the prawns, they were equally divine.
‘So...’ he looked at her gently. ‘I didn’t get to ask how your first day as boss went.’
Eden chewed on the prawn and smiled slightly,’ Turned out better than I thought it would. Everyone seemed onboard and supportive. I was quite surprised.’
‘That’s good isn’t it?’
‘Yes I guess. I think everyone was just pleased to know where they stood. I guess there is nothing worse than not knowing what’s going to happen to your job.’
‘Hmm, I can’t imagine it.’ He dipped into the sauce with the garlic bread.
‘I made a few contacts during my meetings, which I’m glad about.’ She added.
‘That’s great honey. You know I will support you whatever you do.’
‘Yes I know and I love you for it.’
They drifted onto other things and Jude went to get the second course which was pasta in cheese sauce, chicken strips and mixed vegetables.
‘You have really out done yourself.’ She dug into the food. ‘This is amazing.’
‘Thanks hun, I’m so glad you’re enjoying it.’
They decided on a wedding date which was a year away. That would give them enough time to plan.
‘I can’t wait to tell Liv.’ she smiled widely.
‘We should also go and see your mum.’
Eden was silent about that for a moment. Jude was right but she didn’t know how she felt about her mother at that moment.
‘Not only about the wedding but about Josh. When he comes out of hospital he will need a place to stay to recover.’
‘I know you’re right but I’m just not sure I’m ready to face her.’
‘You won’t have to do it alone; I’ll be there with you.’
He put his hand across the table and placed it over hers. ‘I’m here for you.’
‘I know Jude, I know.’ She still wasn’t convinced she wanted to go and see her mother but he was right. She had to tell her about the engagement and they had to discuss Joshua whether her mother wanted to or not.
‘Time for desert.’ He began to clear the plates after they’d finished.
‘Gosh, I’m not sure there’s enough room for desert.’ She sat back into the chair. The evening had been lovely.
‘Okay.’ He stood with the plates in his hand. ‘How about we dance, that way we can make room for desert.’
‘Dance?’ Eden giggled.
‘Yes dance.’ He popped out quickly to take the plates to the kitchen and then returned, picked up the remote and messed around with it a bit.
‘How about…. Some Luther… da da dad a…’ He held out his hand for her take. ‘C’mon.’
Eden took his hand and they began to move to the music Eden laughing in between.
‘Oh yeah, shake it for me baby…’
‘Stop it.’ she laughed shyly as they swung to the music.
Jude sang along to the song.
‘Oh stop.’
‘C’mon, show daddy some moves.’ He swung her around and Eden began to get into the beat. ‘That’s more like it, that’s how I know you.’ He made her do another twirl and then took her into his arms and they swayed to the music.
‘This has been the best and happiest night of my life.’ Eden cradled into Jude as the music slowed down.
‘Mine too, you’ve made me the happiest man on earth.’ He kissed the crown of her head.
They slowed down with the music, Jude ran his finger up and down the middle of her spine. She lifted her head and gazed up into his eyes. Without words he lowered his head and kissed her lips. Eden gasped for air, it didn’t matter what, he would always be able to take her breath away.
First his kisses were slow and then became more desperate. He lowered to her neck as he began to unbutton her blouse. His warm hands found their way to her healthy bust. His kisses moved from her neck to her chest and finally to her breasts. Without taking off her bra Jude took her nipple between his teeth, pulling and slightly biting into the bud teasing her nipples.
‘Oh Jude.’ She panted desperately, her hands in his hair. The more she cried for him the more he gave of himself and explored her body.
‘I love doing this to you.’ He whispered into her stomach on his knees and his hands on her hips. ‘I love you from this angle too.’ He nuzzled into her middle and then undid the button to her trousers and they lowered.
‘Beautiful,’ he said as she stepped out.
Jude wasted no time and quickly lowered her panties.
‘Open wide so I can see you.’ His voice was low making her wet and clenching her clit.
Eden lifted her leg slightly and Jude captured it and placed it onto his shoulder. He then let his index finger run gently over the skin of her pussy.
‘Aahaah.’ Eden took in the sensation; she pushed her hips forward to meet his hand to receive more of his touch.  Jude let his fingers play with her for a moment and then brought his mouth forward. His lips met her pussy lips and they fitted together perfectly. He kissed her and sucked her hard!
‘Aahahahaha!’ She threw back her head as she felt the skins of her clit being sucked into his mouth.  He flickered his tongue like a snake would, teasing the very sensitive parts of her.
‘Make me come like you did the last time,’ she murmured.
‘That would be my pleasure.’ He dipped his index finger into her. Her body became ridged for a moment. The sensation beyond description in words; each time Jude took her to a new level. It was never boring, only exciting and adventurous.
He played about teasingly within her but didn’t do as he’d done the last time she’d come. Eden wanted so much to experience what she had the first time he’d made her splash out but instead he played around within her.
‘Patience my dear.’ He let his lips land on her swollen lips. He licked her and tasted her as if she were a tasty desert. Her body began to build in preparation to let go; she could feel it and so could he. He dipped a ridged tongue into her and ran it up and down her slit.
‘Ah, ah, nuh aha nauahahaha!’ Eden couldn’t bear it much longer. For a brief second he looked up at her with wet lips and smiled. That did it for her. His hunger, his hands against her warm flesh made her so excited, too excited to contain herself.
Without warning he dipped two fingers into her suddenly.
‘Ahahhhhh!’ It was an unexpected shock but a shock she loved. It was then that he repeated the manoeuvre he’d done before. He brought both fingers forward towards him inside her!
‘Oh shit!’ she screamed. She grasped onto his locks as if to keep herself from falling.
He moved his fingers with the right kind of pressure and Eden met him with equal eager.
‘That’s it baby, come for me, come for me.’ His hands moved faster, even though she couldn’t tell what he was doing to make her feel so amazing, this vulnerable…she absolutely love it. The new experience, the feeling of being ripped apart internally, a dull but good pain. A pain that wanted, needed to be pressed on over and over again. It wasn’t bad, it was good! Everything in that moment was good, her life, the man between her legs, everything!
‘That’s it, that’s it baby!’ he grunted hungrily as he watched her weaken, as she came under his spell, under his charm.
He twisted his hand as if turning on a tap and without restraint or restriction Eden let go. She was free to be and to be accepted in whatever state she was in.
‘Yes, yes yes baby, yes!’ He accepted her as she came onto him. He loved the sound of her voice as she let go, the soft scent of her wetness as she came all over him.  It only made him hunger for more of her.
‘I will never get enough of you.’ He breathed gently moving his wet fingers. The wetness had soaked his shirt.
He quickly unbuttoned a few buttons to the shirt and pulled it over him. He also quickly unbuckled his jeans and lowered his boxers. His cock stood to attention, big and strong! He wanted nothing but to enter her as deep as she would allow.
‘Lie down for me baby,’ he said softly as he helped her to the floor. ‘I want to make you happy, as long as you’re happy I’m happy.’
Eden was in a world of her own, glowing in the buzz of her orgasm and feeling the build up of another one. His voice strong and yet tender, everything about him gave her body reason to want more of him, to take him.
Jude waited at her entrance as he admired her. He smiled down at her as Eden looked up at him weak and longingly. With nothing more Jude entered her slowly. He closed his eyes to the sensation; this had been a long wait. He had held back for a long time and if he didn’t master enough self control it would be short lived. He pushed into her rotating his hips and then withdrew.
‘Don’t stop.’ She panted lightly. ‘Don’t ever stop.’
‘If only that were possible my love.’ He giggled lightly and re-entered her this time a lot faster and with more need. They breathed heavily and Eden grasped onto his tight butt and encouraged him to enter her deeper and faster.
‘I love…you…Jude!’ she breathed and felt herself build up again. ‘I love you so much.’
‘Aaaaaha,’ Jude felt himself come at the sound of her words. Everything about her made him weak all over. ‘I…love….ahahaha, you!’ He couldn’t hold back any longer and together they came holding each other as tight as they could.
