Paperback news, New story and everything in between!

Almost there!!! I could scream. This afternoon when UPS dropped off my proof I felt like a little girl waiting to open her Christmas present.  Just having it in my hands feels awesome. I look back now on my little girl dreams and realise just how many of them have come true. I also realised that sometimes there are so many naysayers, and sometimes we give up before we achieve the things we want to. The number of times I was told I couldn't do this, or this wasn't a real job...blah...blah...blah. Yes people's advice is all fair and fine, and sometimes done out of the goodness of their hearts. But it's really up to you to decide what you want to do with your life. There will those people who will be your cheerleaders. I have a few of them, and I'm grateful for them. I really am. I'm just happy that I finally have a book in print.

Here a few photos of me showing it off. I will announce when it's out.

This is the beginning of more turning into paperbacks, for those of you who prefer a paperback to an electronic copy, you have something to look forward to!

New Story

As promised I'm almost done with The Gift series. I had written two books and then had left it. After a few requests, I have finally written more of this story. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy writing it.

After this story, it's back to The Assassin. Lots will be unfolding in that series. Can't wait! I will keep you updated.

Christmas

It's that time of year again and I hope you're almost ready for it. We've had our first real tree!

WALA!

Love it and it smells a little like sawdust. The reason I say this is when we had our hamster, her saw dust smelt just like the tree haha. It reminds my daughter and I of the lovely little thing :-).

So this is the tree before my daughter did her magic with it!

And this is after!

I thinks she's done a pretty awesome job! Now I have to get down to wrapping the presents and writing cards. I'm always about to do them, but never really get round to doing it, but I will have to soon or else I'll be wrapping them on Christmas eve. It won't be the first time I do that!

I hope you're much better prepared than me! Keep your eyes out for the new book that will be out very soon!

love

- Iris
